AQUATIC CENTER
- The
Aquatics Center is a state-of-the-art
aquatics facility designed to meet the health, fitness,
safety, and recreational needs of Carlisle area residents of
all ages. This
recreational pool is
more comfortable for children
and seniors
by providing ground level access
and gradual ramp entry and egress. No ladders!
There is a shallower depth that is more child friendly and
suitable for water aerobics. The facility also offers
swimming lanes,
diving boards and waterslides. In short, the aquatic center has something for everyone.
AQUATIC CENTER
POLICIES & PROCEDURES - To
ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Aquatic Center users
the City has developed the
Aquatics Center Policies and Procedures Manual. The
manual sets the admission fees, hours for different activities
at the Aquatic Center, general rules, swimming lessons, birthday parties, special
events and pool rentals for private parties.
It incorporates
specific rules pertaining to use of the water slide, drop
slide, and diving boards. For example, to prevent
head or neck injury, waterslide users must be at least 48
inches tall and are required to ride feet first while lying on
their backs. These rules have been provided by the
manufacturer of the equipment and are required at all
facilities equipped with these features. Discipline
procedures and inclement weather are also covered.
Please take the time to review these procedures and go over
them with your children.
POOL RENTAL:
The pool may be rented
from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday
evenings for private parties; rental agreements are available
at City Hall. The
two-hour rental fee varies depending upon the size of the
group and what section of the pool is rented.
For groups 50 or less the fee is:
$100.00 for the shallow end only; $150.00 for the
shallow end plus waterslide; $200.00 for the entire pool. For
groups greater than 50, the fee is:
$150.00 for the shallow end only; $200.00 for the
shallow end plus waterslide; $250.00 for the entire pool.

with several of our lifeguards who are certified Water Safety
Instructors. These
lessons will be coordinated through the Pool Manager and are
based upon instructor availability.

through Thursday mornings, with Friday reserved as a make-up
day if needed. The cost of individual private lessons is $75.00; the cost of

high school and younger, foster children, foreign exchange
students and legally guardianed youth. One babysitter may be listed provided the babysitter only
uses the pass to bring the children to the pool.
Calling
all brick order forms! There
are still 50 outstanding forms circulating in the community.
Two shipments of brick and granite pavers have already
been sent to the engraver and are in process.
Please complete your forms and return them to City Hall
as soon as possible. Thanks!
If you need another brick order form, it is available
at City Hall or on the city’s website at Brick
Order Form.
It’s not too late to order a brick for contributions
