Access to Carlisle Brush Disposal Site

In order to make it easier for residents to clean up tree branches after the severe winter ice storms and the recent wind storms, the City of Carlisle has been allowing unrestricted access to the City’s brush disposal site at the east end of Park Street.  The site is for the disposal of tree waste only.  Although the majority of users have used the site correctly, a small minority of users have abused their privileges by dumping trash and construction debris.  Because the brush disposal site is located within the Lake Red Rock flowage easement, the dumping of trash and other debris is strictly prohibited.

In order to protect the continued existence of the brush disposal site, the City of Carlisle will therefore reinstate restricted access to the brush disposal site.  Beginning immediately, the Carlisle brush disposal site will be open from 7 A.M. to 3 P.M. on weekdays and 8 A.M. to noon on Saturdays.
