Mayor's Good Deed Award

The Carlisle "Good Deed Award" seeks to recognize individuals or groups who have enhanced the quality of life in our community through a one time event or an ongoing action. The Mayor and City Council is pleased to recognize those who are making a difference in Carlisle.

Recognition with a Carlisle Good Deed Award is based on the following criteria:

• a creative deed or project that goes beyond basic "neighborliness"

• a deed or project that can be adopted in other neighborhoods or areas

• sustained conduct of an activity or an extraordinary single deed

• a deed or project that is performed without coercion or the expectation of reward or recognition
