OUTAGES: The
safe
and reliable delivery of
electricity is the primary goal of the Carlisle Municipal Electric Department.
We are very proud of the reliability of our service.
However, power outages do occur within our system. The most common
reasons for an outage are wind storms,
lightening, squirrels, or accidents involving a
power pole.

REPORTING
OUTAGES
Your call can help us restore your power
quickly by helping us determine the location and extent of an outage.
Immediately
report a power outage by calling:

If you are experiencing an outage, please
check the following before you call:

checked your circuit breakers or fuses?
To check a circuit breaker you must first flip
it to the "OFF" position to
reset it before flipping it to the "ON"
position.
- Check and
see if your
neighbors are out of power too.
- Do you see a
tree limb on a power line or a line down?
When you call please be prepared to give us the following
information:

the outage
or problem
