The "Carlisle Gateway Project" is poised to take advantage of the commercial development opportunities afforded by the recently completed Hwy 5/Hwy65 Des Moines beltway system. Businesses in Carlisle have immediate access to the I35/80 Interstate and are only 15 minutes from the Des Moines International airport and 20 minutes from downtown Des Moines, Iowa’s capital.

Carlisle is growing at a controlled rate.  At the present time, 61 acres are being developed with 104 lots are available in 5 residential developments.  Another 60 acres with 224 lots are being planned.
