ACADEMICS

Carlisle students consistently outperform the state and national averages in both college entrance exam scores and graduation percentages.  Here is the 2004 Report Card on the School District.

This year, the Carlisle High School Decathlon team finished 2nd at Regionals and 10th in the state.  This qualifies the team for the state meet on March 11th.

CHARACTER COUNTS

The Elementary participates in the Character Counts youth ethics initiative stressing the six pillars of "Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.

It just makes sense to teach young people right from wrong, in the classroom, living room and locker room. We want to be surrounded by good people, people we can trust to make decisions according to principle rather than expediency.

The Carlisle Area Dollars for Scholars "PEACH" (Palmyra, Easter Lake, Avon, Carlisle & Hartford) Chapter has been active the last 7 years raising funds to help our students with higher education expenses. DFS scholarships can be used at any 4-year or 2-year college or technical school.  Working together we have been able to   make scholarship awards to 375 Carlisle graduates totaling $198,250.
