7:20 August 20, 2007 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes (attachment to follow)

• Recommendation to approve request from Daniels Land Surveying on behalf of Tanner Bunce and Donald and Mary Rose Wyckoff for approval of a plat of survey within the 2-mile radius of the City of Carlisle, on Parcel “U” in the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 9, Township 77N, Range 23W, local address 15543 Briggs St. (attachment)
• Recommendation to table request from Phil Nolte for approval of a site plan for the development of Lot 44, North River Terrace, Plat 2, local address 800 Penn St., including extensions of the public sewer and water trunk systems and the public street, pending review by the City Engineer (attachment)
• Recommendation to rezone all of the properties on the north side of School St. between Garfield St. and the Railroad Right of Way from M-1 light industrial to C-3 central business commercial district in response to the request from Bill Brandt for permission to establish a residential use in an M-1 light industrial zone on .19AC NE SE W RR & E S PT OL 10 SEC. 3-77-23, local address 3 ½ School St. (attachment)

7:25 Resolution approving agreement with Fox Engineering for a water system master plan update (attachment)

•  Discussion of using pedestrian bridge for ball field maintenance vehicle

• Appointment of Scott Burger as Park Board representative to Carlisle ball field complex maintenance agreement negotiating committee (attachment)
• Recommendation to accept resignation of Tim Sones from Park Board and appoint Ruth Fetters to the unexpired term ending December 31, 2009
• Recommendation to make all park and recreation areas tobacco free
• Recommendation to direct the Parks, Public Works and Police Departments to develop a design and cost estimate for a pedestrian crossing at the aquatic center
